I am sure everyone
has seen or heard
about this notice on
the group's home
page... Time for a
little clarity
here. To most of
you it means
absolutely nothing.
To the few that have
been using a common
cheat to steal MSN
storage space
despite being
advised against it
in this and other
help groups, it
means that MSN has
disabled the cheat
and will disable
groups that try to
use it or any other
means to steal
storage space from
MSN. This does not
refer to items
legitimately hosted
on other servers
such as
Photo-bucket, Fotki
or personal
webservers, nor does
it refer to copy
pasted items that
are legitimately
stored on MSN. It
does not mean that
every redX you see
on MSN is the mark
of a cheater
either. Most of
them are the result
of routine gremlin
action. So Take a
deep breath, count
to ten, relax and if
you are not one of
the cheaters, bite
the cap off another
cold one and forget
about it. If you
are one of the
cheaters, you have a
mess to clean up.
